Note that this April 1973 price is slightly lower than the last 1972 price. The difference is in the tax calculation, which changed from a single Purchase Tax to a split Car Tax plus Value Added Tax.

1973 was the year of the oil crisis, but unlike other car models, the DS420 did not suffer much from this. Most probably the custom base for this type of car was wealthy enough not to care much.

August 1973 brought an almost 10% increase over the previous prices. The new price list (publication no. ADB56) was printed in a yellow/rosa colour, which makes it very hard to read. Therefore we once again have the cover pages in the original colour, and the limousine details converted to B&W.
