In 2008 Craig Talbot provided an interesting story about how he bought his limo at a Japanese auction, imported it into Canada, and drove it home 1000 miles from Vancouver harbour, over the Rocky Mountains, to his home town Calgary. The story is on this website in Craig's "Car and Owners" section.
 
In the article shown here he describes how he repeated the trip to visit the annual show of the Jaguar Club of Victoria BC.

The authors contacted me with their wish to get more DS420 coverage in the "Flagships" section of the magazine of the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club. Nigel Thorley then reworked the text of an article that I once submitted to Brian Smith for inclusion in Brian's book "Daimler Days Vol 3".

In the December 2024 issue Peter Irwin described how we met at a Jaguar Day in September 2024, when I happened to be near Gaydon and visited that event.
