This page shows how the shape of the arm rest has been made more stretched after the turning handle for the rear side window has disappeared (see previous manual E1017/1).

If you compare this page to the corresponding page in the next owner's manual E1038/1, you see how the control knobs on the arm rest have been positioned differently. Also note the change in shape of the control area on top of the arm rest. These controls (airco) are covered on page 23.
