Cheltenham Mayoral Limousine - Ray Broadbent and Tim Enloe

Ray Broadbent, from Greers Ferry in Arkansas, USA, bought this limousine in 1990 in the UK. It has served as the Mayoral car in Cheltenham.

It is car 1M2076, production date December 15, 1971, and sold new to the Municipality of Cheltenham. The number plate BAD999K is still the original UK one; as long as the rear of the car displays the state-official plate the rules in Arkansas do allow this. It has covered 41000 miles, and has been 100% reliable all those years. According to Ray it had never been resprayed.

These pictures show the wedding of Ray and Mrs. Dardee Hartman Broadbent in 2009. Very chic!
Mr. Broadbent died in 2013.

Currently (2020) the car is owned by Tim Enloe in Kansas who gave it a thorough restoration and respray. The second row of photos, provided by Tim in 2021, shows this restoration and its result.
