Daimler DS420 Funeral director magazine articles 1968-1988

This web page shows the start pages of various magazine articles featuring one or more DS420 hearses. These articles appeared in the monthly Funeral Director magazine of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) in Solihull. They were photographed from the bound volumes of the magazine, 1968-1988, when the NAFD very kindly gave me access to their library. Click on an image to get to the full article.

Several of these articles appeared as "Company news" texts, where the FD magazine set a monthly spotlight on one company in the trade. Often the cover photo of the magazine also came from the company involved.

These documents were photographed from bound volumes of the magazine. The spines of these volumes were old and brittle, and could not be pressed flat. Therefore most of these images show a certain amount of distortion.
