Upper part of steering column. Gear selector lever still attached (touching the left edge of the picture)
and the direction indicator lever still attached, including the electric contacts (white plastic)
The curled knob on the left is to fix the adjustable length of the steering column.
An interesting piece is the bended copper strip just above the head of the pliers behind the blue screw driver.
This is for the horn contact, bridging the gap between the moving (turning) part of the steering
column and the fixed housing around the column which provides the
final ground contact.
