The veneer of this car was in very bad shape, as could be seen on previous pictures. Restoring the veneer is then very costly. But as a professional cabinet maker, Anton masters a technology where paint is applied onto an ocre background in such a way that it really looks like an original veneer pattern. Still expensive in time and material, but not to such extremes as real veneer restorations.
