The text on this specific copy is in Dutch, because it was scanned from a Dutch calendar. The text on the English calendar (of which the Dutch text is a loose translation) was as follows:

Since the opening in 1908 of a limousine hire department in Kensington, Daimler has been renowned as the maker of some of the largest and most luxurious vehicles in the 'carriage trade'. Rarely has there been a State or ceremonial event without the presence of Daimler cars. In 1968 the DS420 was evolved using an extended Jaguar Mark X floorpan and the famous 4.2 litre 'XK' engine with the assembly, painting and trimming being carried out by Vanden Plas at Kingsbury. North London. Later the limousine, from start to finish, was built by a team of specialists at Jaguar's Browns Lane factory. Improvements were constantly introduced but essentially, the model remained unchanged to the end of production in November, 1992. Throughout, it blended modern technology with traditional craftmanship and represented excellent value. This was the final DS420 to be produced. (Owner: Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust)
