My "wanted" list

Since I started collecting DS420 scale models in 1999 I have also collected hundreds of photos, to build an overview of what has been manufactured worldwide. I saved photos and screenshots from eBay, Vectis and other auction sites, from manufacturers' and vendors' websites, from model car hobby fora, etc, etc. Apart from that I made it an almost daily routine to run automated searches on several eBay sites, to take into account that if an eBay seller has indicated that he/she won't make international shipments, such an object is often not shown on other national eBay sites.

After my most recent purchase I have only two photos left on my "wanted" list. They are shown here: an all yellow 1:43 scale MiniMarque landaulette, manufactured ca. 2004, and a black-over-yellow 1:18 scale model of the Shenzhen DOZ Model Arts (PMC) brand, dating from around 2007/2009.

Without a photo, and thus less certain about their existence, are the following. In the box of the last Specialities International model that I purchased was a note that two of this brand were made in 'white'. Also, the former owner of the Cheshire Scale Models brand told me that he made some models in 'blue over silver'. On the boxes of this brand are the colours 'white', 'black', 'grey' preprinted. The 'blue over silver" nor the 'grey' one are in my collection. Apart from these, I have the strong suspicion that there have been more colours of the two 1:18 scale brands than I have in my current 1:18 collection.

Of course I will happily receive any information about models/colours that have entirely escaped my attention, and are thus not documented at all on this website. Please contact me at hjt@xs4all.nl

However, I am not interested in one-off productions, repaint jobs, or in aftermarket modifications e.g. to produce a banger car, or a hearse-converted-to-pickup-truck, etc. From the Cheshire Scale Models brand, that was mainly sold in kit form, I will only consider DIY-assembled models if they are of near professional build quality.
