Left side: inside the front left wheel arch, looking back/up. Imagine the piece of carpet to be at the left of the feet of the front bench passenger (RHD car). If you have difficulties to imagine where this is, then look at the next picture first; it shows the same area but from a wider perspective.

The dark brown area behind the carpet is the front side of the front bench, and the bright red thing is the fire extinguisher that I hung under the front bench.

The repaired reinforcement of the jacking point, visible on the previous picture, is visible again here at the bottom right (where the light reflection touches the bottom edge of the photo).

It is interesting to see the inner construction of the sill: from left to right we first have the round surface under the carpet, then there is the rectangular reinforcement beam mounted against the vertical surface halfway the sill, and finally you must realise that the outside of the sill has been cut away.
