DS420 Changes during production

This shows the display of a Borg Warner 8 gearbox:
P R N D2 D1 L
(with the little indicator arrow on the left side.
Not visible here are the direction indicator warning lights
in the very left and right corners of that display.
The clock has two adjustment points, excentric. This
shows that this car is a very early one: 1968-1970.
All cars of this age have the chrome coating on their
direction light handle (left) peeling off.
Applying chrome on aluminium is a very special procedure
and was not very well mastered in those days.
My advice: use very fine sand paper to uncover the blank aluminium;
success guaranteed and rechroming not needed.
It is not very difficult to take that handle off.
