Bottom of the heater unit taken from the engine bay. Rainwater that came in via the ventilation flap in front of the windscreen (and then the top of this heater unit) is supposed to leave via the slit visible here in the bottom, and come in a reception bin below it (visible on many other pictures in this collection). The rainwater always make this area very rusty.
